Harry Souders gave a very nice Samba presentation (with handouts!).
You can find the presentation about Samba here (when it gets posted).
This is the meetings notes from January 98...
Harry Souders and I, Brian Lavender, will present configuration
of Samba. Samba allows Linux to act as a print and file server
for a Windows network. Recommended reading: [http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/howto/SMB-HOWTO]*
After the meeting:
Mike Simons showed off his new Dell latitude cpi. PII 366 with 128M ram and a bright 14in screen. Very cool!
There were about 20 people at the meeting. It was raining (suprise).
